Application:Ethylhexyl Triazone is a highly effective UV-B filter with an extremely high absorption rate exceeding 1,500 at 314 nm. Due to its high A1/1 value, only a small concentration is needed in cosmetic sunscreen formulations to achieve a high SPF value. A maximum concentration of 3% is recommended. Furthermore, its polar nature gives it excellent affinity for skin keratin, making formulations using this product particularly waterproof. This property is further enhanced by its complete insolubility in water. Due to supersaturation, ethylhexyl triazone may crystallize after prolonged storage. Ethylhexyl triazone exhibits excellent photostability. It remains virtually unchanged even when exposed to strong radiation. Ethylhexyl triazone is typically dissolved in the oil phase of emulsions. Ethylhexyl triazone (UV absorber UVT-150) is the most potent oil-soluble UV-B absorber, exhibiting strong photostability, high water resistance, and good affinity for skin keratin. Ethylhexyltriazine is a new type of ultraviolet absorber that has been developed in recent years. It has a large molecular structure and high ultraviolet absorption efficiency, and has a broad-spectrum sun protection effect, protecting against both UVB and UVA ultraviolet rays. It can be used as an additive in sunscreen products.
